When do I make payment for the hat?
We request that you make payment at the time of booking
Do I need an appointment if I want to try the hat?
Yes – we work on a non-obligatory appointment basis to ensure you have our full attention when trying on our hats and headpieces
What if I am unable to come for an appointment?
If you are unable to come to Harrogate for an in-person appointment you have 2 other options. You can arrange a ‘Virtual Consultation’ – whereby we can do a video call with you to show you the hats. Or, you can simply book the hat you would like via our ‘Online Hire Service,’ without the need of an appointment.
How far in advance do I need to book?
Hats can be hired up until the day of your event. However, we only create one of each design, therefore we recommend coming well in advance of your occasion date to ensure you have the full choice of our hire collection
Do I pay a deposit?
A deposit is paid prior to hire and is returned when we receive the hat back
What if I change my mind?
If you change your outfit or want to change your hat then get back in touch and we will organise another appointment for you to come select another design
Can I cancel my hat hire?
Cancellations must be made no less than 1 month before the event in order for a refund to be issued. A consultation fee of £30 will be charged for any cancellation and deducted from the hire sum.
What if I don’t wear the hat ?
We do not offer refunds if you don’t wear the hat for any reason including cancellation of event, illness or unsuitability of hat
How do I return the hat?
If you are returning your hat to our Harrogate studio, we ask that you return Monday-Friday between 10am-3pm
If you are returning your hat via post, we ask that you post it to us with Royal Mail Special Delivery service
How do I know what angle to wear the hat?
If you have booked your hat online, we would be happy to provide a Facetime/video call consultation with you to show you the best way to wear your hat
How do I fit the hat?
For all our hats that are set on our handmade wire headbands, we would recommend bending the band according to your head shape until it feels comfortable
