This crowned saucer has been created using a bright red buntal straw that has been blocked into this flattering angled design. A large red silk flower with vintage stamens adorns the lower side of the headpiece, and large veiling loops in white and red with spots has been added generously at either side of the hat.
This hat is perfect for a statement Royal Ascot look.
This headpiece is secured using a bendable wire headband that can be adjusted to your head shape and size. There is also an elastic that runs along your hairline at the back to keep the hat nice and secure.

How long do I hire the hat for?
- The cost of your hat hire covers a 1-week hire period
When do I make payment for the hat?
- We request that you make payment at the time of booking
Do I need an appointment if I want to try the hat?
- Yes – we work on a non-obligatory appointment basis to ensure you have our full attention when trying on our hats and headpieces
What if I am unable to come for an appointment?
- If you are unable to come to Harrogate for an in-person appointment you have 2 other options. You can arrange a ‘Virtual Consultation’ – whereby we can do a video call with you to show you the hats. Or, you can simply book the hat you would like over email without the need of an appointment.
How far in advance do I need to book?
- Hats can be hired up until the day of your event. However, we only create one of each design, therefore we recommend coming well in advance of your occasion date to ensure you have the full choice of our hire collection
Do I pay a deposit?
- A deposit is paid prior to hire and is returned when we receive the hat back
How do I return the hat?
- If you are returning your hat to our Harrogate studio, we ask that you return Monday-Friday between 10am-3pm
- If you are returning your hat via post, we ask that you post it to us with Royal Mail Special Delivery service
How do I know what angle to wear the hat?
- If you have booked your hat online, we would be happy to provide a Facetime/video call consultation with you to show you the best way to wear your hat
How do I fit the hat?
- For all our hats that are set on our handmade wire headbands, we would recommend bending the band according to your head shape until it feels comfortable
