Luxury Wreath Workshops 2019
Have you ever wanted to learn how to make your very own luxurious Christmas wreath to adorn your front door over the festive season?
Jenny Roberts Millinery are offering a unique Christmas wreath workshop at our Millinery studio in all its twinkling and festive glory, off Cold Bath Road in Harrogate.
Materials will be provided and no previous experience is necessary as Marie and Jenny provide step by step demonstrations as well as personal tuition to produce the perfect truly unique holiday wreath; Marie’s floristry background includes the accolade of winning a Gold for her floral designs at Chelsea Flower Show so expect to create something really special.
The workshop will address wiring techniques, examples of finished wreaths and the various styles that can be achieved. This year we our taking our inspiration from ‘SCANDI STYLE’ and we will be focusing the designs on natural textures and colours, there will be lots of NEW exciting foliage; eucalyptus, pinus, pussywillow, ivy, birch, ruscus, grevilliea, eryngium as well as those favourites; fir cones, lotus pods, cinnamon, split limes, twigs, pheasant and peacock feathers. We hope this will enable those of you who have done wreaths with us before to take your front doors to the next level!
Spend time with like-minded people whilst learning a new skill. Take some time out for yourself – come alone or with a friends and have some festive fun with us! We promise you an enjoyable workshop full of ideas, trade secrets and inspiration.
There will be plenty of instruction, help and encouragement and of course lashings of tea/coffee/hot chocolate and Christmas Fayre for your delight. And to chase those winter blues away and reward ourselves for our industrious endeavours, there will be a glass of Mulled Wine.
How to book… The workshops will run from Sunday 1st December through to Saturday 14th December (from 10am – 12noon or from 1-3pm) (evening workshops available on request).
The workshops are for small groups of 6-7, cost is £55 per head.
