About the Tutors

Jenny Roberts, a highly skilled and experienced milliner who has been teaching millinery since 2015, currently offers tuition in all aspects of millinery. The carefully crafted classes are delivered from her studio in Harrogate, UK, as well as virtually, via Zoom.

Jenny’s tutorials are planned and resourced to the highest of standards. The sessions, support all levels of abilities; from novices wanting to develop millinery as a hobby, to broadening the skills of professional milliners, wishing to expand their repertoire.

Jenny’s designer knowledge and experience is vast! As well as creating many bespoke designs for distinguished clients attending events such as as Royal Ascot, Jenny has also taught at ‘London Hat Week’, for ‘The British Millinery Association’ and for ‘The American Institute of Millinery.’  Jenny also serves on the Education Committee for The British Hat Guild and is proud to be an ‘Ambassador’ of the ‘British Millinery Association.  Having such a wealth of experience allows Jenny to bring a rich source of insider -designer knowledge to the ‘The School of Millinery,’ which her students really value.

While Jenny has reached ‘dizzy heights’ in the world of designer millinery, she is also very practical. Her classes are accessible by all, and she goes to great lengths to ensure her students feel well supported and she consistently takes the time to explain methods and approaches with care.
